You should all by now have had the opportunity to look at the Financial Statement for 2023-2024. If you have any questions regarding the statement would you please email the office and any queries will be answered asap. I am pleased to say that we have turned our finances around from a deficit to a small but welcome profit. This has been achieved in part by reviewing spending at the office but is largely due to your continued support. Donations from WIs was very generous and members’ attendance at events has, in many cases, exceeded expectations. However,we must not be complacent. We continue to look at saving money. Hence the survey about how you would like to receive your Newsletters. We hope for your continued support in the coming year.
I also need to return to a couple of things I have mentioned before. Please take care when writing cheques that the recipient Northumberland Federation of WIs is clearly written and all writing is on the given lines. We have had to rely on the goodwill of the cashier at the bank to accept some unclear cheques. It also helps if you write on the back of the cheque what it is paying for.
MCS still a problem. Please keep it up to date.
Finally, if a new member is to receive her welcome pack we must have their name and address.
