Good morning WI, The Age UK Northumberland Scams team is here to provide support and advice to our 50+ community across the area. As part of this project we are able to offer group talks to interested parties, these talks cover the most common types of scams, what to look out for and how to protect yourself and family. The team have already delivered a number of sessions to WI groups but I wondered if you could pass on our details to all of your groups? If any group organizer was interested they can drop us a line at scams@ageuk-northumberland.org.uk We’ll then get I touch individually to discuss the sessions and book you in, I’m aware that the WI tend to book well in advance so happy that we may be looking into 2026.
