Hello Ladies, hope you’re all well and looking forward to new experiences and events to come in the new WI year just begun.
You’ll no doubt be considering the TWO Resolutions going forward this year, so please remember that you need to vote for or against EACH of them separately…you’re not choosing just one of them…and then please consider giving your delegate ‘discretion’ on each resolution so that she can still vote on your behalf if there are changes. I can remember the wording of one being slightly modified whilst we were actually on the coach on our way to the meeting, and thankfully most of us were still able to vote because our members had sensibly given discretion.
The Formation meeting for Haydon Hearts WI went ahead last night with lots of enthusiasm, tea, coffee and cake (big thanks to the ladies from Bardon Mill for helping yet again) – and we’re keen to open more so please let us know if there’s a Community Centre or Village Hall near you which would be suitable to host a WI and we can make further enquiries. Please help your Advisers by being our eyes and ears…
