Thank You
Many thanks for all the wonderful cards, emails and flowers I received on my retirement as Chairman. They were totally unexpected but much appreciated.
My nine years as your Chairman were very special and that was entirely because of your friendship and thoughtfulness toward me.
I would also like to thank Dorothy Sowerby who drove me around the Federation in order for me to attend meetings and events, I owe her a huge debt of gratitude.
Thank you again and I hope to see you in my new role as Denman Ambassador.
Hilary

Newbiggin by the Sea talk about trees…
At the monthly meeting on June 11 at 7pm a very interesting and informative talk was accompanied by a visual presentation of the Northumbrian Veteran Tree Project by Mr Nick Johnson late of Kirkley Hall College.
Any really old trees you know, he would be very interested to add them to his database.
