Two new application forms for you this month.
Christmas Beetle Drive. This now traditional event will be with Frosty the Snowman as our guest “ beetle” and Christmas cake and cheese for refreshments. Date: Thursday December 10th 2026. Venue: Cresswell House. Time. 13.30-15.30. Cost £9.00 pp which includes refreshments. Closing date: Tuesday December 1st.
As I write this the 2026 Domino Competition final, between Newbrough and Netherton, has yet to be played but with your Secretary is the application for …….. 2027’s competition. Apply by Tuesday February 2nd to play from March through to December. Entry costs £10 per team. A WI can enter more than one team. Please contact me if you would like to enter for the first time and need details of how it runs.
Looking further ahead thank you to Longhoughton and Boulmer WI who have offered to host the circular walk in the summer.
The committee will meet at the end of October to continue our programme planning.
