Hello, hope you’re all well and enjoying what’s left of the Summer.
Is there anything worse than seeing all of the “Back to School” promotions in the shops when it’s the first week of the school holidays? Well, yes there is – it’s being asked to write a piece for the September Northumberland News in the first week of August when I’ve only just unearthed my bucket and spade!!
Seriously though, hopefully we’ve all found some ‘me-time’ to enjoy and recharge our batteries ready for our WI meetings to begin again, and there are lots of fabulous events from the Committees and Federation to look forward to. Don’t forget to get your applications in before the closing dates. I’ll no doubt see many of you at some of those before having Halloween and Christmas thrust upon us at the end of August…
