Details of our next two events are here for you to consider.
First. To tempt you, a selection of Greek Delights will be prepared by Kevin Johnson Greek Delights. If, as I write on a grey February day, you are dreaming of sunnier climes let us take you there with a demonstration of some traditional Greek dishes. These will include chicken souvlaki, tzatziki, halloumi bites and flatbread. For dessert, a delicious galombrama. All dishes will be tasted and enjoyed at the end of the session.
Date. Saturday May 30th. Venue. Cresswell House.
Time. 10 for 10.30 until 14.00. Cost. £21.50pp. This includes coffee and biscuits at 10 and a short break at 12 and, at the end of the session the prepared delights. Closing Date. Tuesday May 12th.
Second. Looking for a new hobby? Come along to a Quilling Workshop.
The session in the ancient art of quilling will be led by an experienced tutor. Use strips of paper that will be rolled, looped, curled, twisted and manipulated to produce a beautiful greetings card. All materials and tools will be provided and the session is suitable for all levels of ability.
