Car Treasure Hunt – Last year’s winners St. Mary’s Belles WI have organised the event. It will take place on Sunday 17 September starting at St. Mary’s Village Hall St. Mary’s Park (near Stannington) Morpeth NE61 6BL. There will be a staggered start from 1pm – 1.30pm when you will set off to explore the quiet roads of South Northumberland and return to the Village Hall for tea. Cost per person is £9, a slight increase on last year to cover St Mary’s Belles food costs and a more expensive hall. Closing date for applications is Monday 21 August. Application form is with your Secretary.
Newbrough Walk. Don’t let bad weather deter you! Newbrough have indoor fun and games lined up if it rains followed by lunch as planned.

Domino Drive – Some time ago the Committee invested in sets of dominoes and we feel it is time they were put back to use. The date for the event is Monday 16 October and will be held at Cresswell House. It will run from 12-3pm starting with a sandwich lunch. Full details and application form will be with the July Newsletter.
Between The Covers – Not what you might first think! This will be a book- lovers tea party to be held at Cresswell House on Monday 13 November from 1.30pm. Details will follow. Meanwhile, what type of reader are you? Do you read the last page first? Does the cover of a book influence your choice?
