By the time you receive this Newsletter the Domino Competition Final between Corbridge and Netherton will have taken place and the result will have been posted on the website.
This event remains very popular, with more teams entering this year than last. So, let’s keep it going in 2026. Never entered a team? Please get in touch if you need details on how it works. The application form for 2026 is with your Secretary. Closing date for team entry Tuesday February 3rd with matches to be played from March to September.
We will, as usual, finish our year with the Christmas Beetle Drive. Date: Thursday 11th December from 13.30. Cost, with refreshments, £8.50pp. C/D Tuesday November 25th.
Plans for 2026 are already underway and will be finalised at our October committee meeting. Already planned are Whist Drive, Murderous Night at Cresswell House and Summer Quiz. Dates for them will be confirmed. Shotley WI are hosting the Circular Walk on Thursday June 11th.
The Committee always appreciate new ideas for events and if as a WI you have a venue suitable for a “joint venture” with Federation please let us know.
