Domino Competition for 2025. We are delighted that the competition will go ahead this year with more teams this year than last. The draw should now be with your designated contact.
Murderous Night at Cresswell House. Application forms with your Secretary. May 19th, 7-9. Supper included. £10.c/d May 6th. It is not a fancy-dress evening but feel free to dress up if you have the outfit. (There might be a prize!)
Rothbury Walk. Date
:Monday June 23rd. Meeting point: The United Reform Church, Market Place. NE65 7UW. 10 for a 10.30 start. Coffee and cake to set you up for the walk. The best car park to use is on the south side of the river (Cowhaugh Car Park) and then a footbridge will take you over the river into the Market Place. All walkers will start together but can choose to split if you are up for something more strenuous.
An easy 4.5 mile walk by the river, using paths and a short stretch of road. One slight incline.
The other walk of 5.5 is rougher and more strenuous and can be muddy. A 100m ascent is rewarded with wonderful views.
Your reward will be a delicious lunch back in Rothbury. Price £14.00 pp. Closing date 30th May.
Please come prepared with appropriate footwear and clothing for any weather and a bottle of water.
