National WI Day 2024
In celebration of National WI Day on 16th September 2024 Hartford Bridge WI ladies gathered to lay of posy around the Emily Wilding Davison statue in Carlisle Park, Morpeth wearing purple poppies crocheted by one of our members. This was followed by a beautiful stroll through the park taking in the William Turner Botanical Garden followed by lunch at Grand Café Lollo.
Prior to this at our WI meeting on 10th September 2024 we had a celebratory cake and sang Jerusalem with pride. Two such wonderful and memorable events.
