HEXHAM TOWN WI CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY
Hexham Town WI celebrated its 10th Birthday Anniversary recently with a ‘Tea on the Train’ event at the Bellingham Heritage Centre.
Members and their family and friends were joined by Moira Bengtson, our WI Northumberland Federation Advisor who helped establish the Hexham Town group a decade ago.
A Birthday Cake was cut by long-standing members Julia Woolley and Ann Clark.
Tea was followed by a fascinating guided tour of the Heritage Centre. President Angela Steele contributed many personal memories as she has family connections with the area.
