Finding our inner artists with LOST
Newcastle East WI started 2026 with a bang, throughly enjoying a super sea glass crafting session by Rachel from LOST Love of Sea Treasures. Rachel shared how her small business came about, showed us some of her designs, then let us loose with glue and “sea treasures” to make our own unique pieces! Members found choosing the perfect pieces of sea glass, pebbles or shells for their designs therapeutic and were thrilled to go home with beautiful, individual works of art. Rachel provided expert tips, lots of encouragement and all the bits and bobs we needed to complete our craft, although our members also enjoyed bringing their own beach-finds to incorporate, too. It was a delightful evening and a fab start to our 2026 programme! (See our Facebook page for more photos.)
