Only one new appli
cation form this month; the Domino Competition 2025. We are still having sufficient teams entering to make the competition viable. It is a great way to spend time with another WI, enjoy their refreshments and appreciate a drive through our beautiful county.
The closing date for entering a team OR teams of four is February 4th at a cost of £9.50 per team. The preliminary round will be played by end of March and the rest over the summer months. The grand final will be in mid-September. We have welcomed new teams to the competition in the last couple of years but there is always space for more. Not sure how it works ? Please contact me. Old friends – I expect to see you all again. Forms are with your Secretary.
Winner of the 2024 competition was Craster A.
The Car Treasure Hunt winner was Bedlington WI. We hope this event will run again next year and also the WI circular Walk with lunch
Our first, but not last Jigsaw Competition, was a great success. The winners were the team from Denton Dollies and Cramlington. Second, the team from Kingston Sparks and Garden Village. Third, Hexhamshire. Well done ladies. Just look at the concentration … It’s a joy when you organise an event and all the pieces slot together !! (Pun intended) 
In the meanwhile we round off this year with our Christmas Beetle Drive. Join us at Cresswell House on Wednesday December 11th from 13.30 to 15.30.Cost £8 pp. Christmas cake and cheese for refreshments.
