By the time you get this Newsletter WI Treasurers should have received the information about the subscription fees for 2025/2026. There is to be an increase of £3 per member bringing the fees to £51.( £25.10 to your W1, £12.05 to Federation and £13.85 to National.) Their rationale for this is in the letter and will be in WI Life in November. Theiroversight of WI finances and strategic planning for the future leads them to believe that the £51 is needed.
I am sure that this will lead to much discussion amongst members of WIs in Northumberland.
You have until March to save up!
Remember you do have the option to reduce your own WI’s portion for the year.
We value all our members and can only hope that you feel that both your own WI and Federation always work to give you value for money.
