Hello again, hope those involved in ‘back-to-school’ shenanigans have survived and that those of us who now watch from a distance have enjoyed receiving the yearly ‘first-day-back’ photographs with littlies wearing uniforms bought to last throughout all growth spurts.
Your happy band of Advisers have been enjoying the downtime between Annual Meeting seasons too but will soon be back in harness as the Autumn dates are about to start. We so enjoy our visits, and I was delighted to receive a message of thanks from one WI which had needed a bit of help and guidance during the year. It included the lovely sentiment of “An Adviser is for life, not just for the Annual Meeting” and that’s very, very true. We’re always willing to help when needed and please get your booking slips to us early for the coming year….we’re rather popular!!
Also popular – but on a totally different tangent – are the annual Literary Lunches at Hexham, and we’re hoping to hold more in different venues around the County so would be delighted to hear of any venues which may be available. There’s normally an excellent speaker after a three-course lunch, plus the very popular bottle raffle so please get in touch if you have any ideas. Meanwhile, take care, have fun, and enjoy the start of Autumn.
