The Beauties of Coquetdale
Rothbury WI has been working on a major project this year, an outdoor naked calendar in aid of HospiceCare North Northumberland. As we go to print it is the 25th anniversary of the Rylstone & District Calendar, so it seems a fitting time for it! Our courageous members, of all shapes and sizes and ages from 50s to nearly 80, braved the elements. We were out in -6 C at midnight, in howling winds and all seasons.The members found the experience terrifying but very liberating. The results are beautiful.
Tickets for the Launch Tea and Cake event to be held from 2- 4 pm on 24th October in the Jubliee Hall, Rothbury, are now on sale. We hope you can join us along with our special guest The Sheriff of Northumberland for tea and cake.
