Hello, hasn’t this weather been amazing with hopefully a little more of Summer to come? One of my greatest pleasures is having washing out to dry…and I’ve had great discussions recently regarding items being hung up ‘right way up’ and in matching pairs! Himself was not amused to have his work corrected but if something’s worth doing….
Something else worth doing – sorry, but it makes a seamless follow-up – is our “Proper Programme Planning” day. We’re holding two sessions on Monday 23rd September, 2pm – 4pm and then 7pm – 9pm so please get your applications in to Cresswell House as soon as possible. We’ll share lots of hints and tips, and these are always popular sessions for sharing ideas and discussing meetings which work particularly well. A good programme is an excellent promotional tool too, so it’s important to make yours interesting and diverse…everything from Genealogy to gyrating with a hula-hoop!!
Lastly, a reminder to get your applications for the Literary Lunch on Wednesday 2nd October sent in, complete with your cheque and menu choice. It’s always a super lunch with good company, an excellent speaker, great raffle and a chance to dress up a bit too – see you there x
