Treasurer Message – June 2024

As you receive this Newsletter we will be two months into the WI year for 2024-2025 and so please could your MCS rep. ensure your members records are up to date.
At the point of writing, 3 WIs have yet to pay their subs for this year. They need to remedy this if they wish to continue receiving the benefits of being WI members. Four WIs have not settled their invoice for delegates expenses for the A.M. in London. Invoices should be settled within 28 days of receipt. The invoice will have been with the Secretary’s mailing so can I ask that Secretaries pass on any relevant mailing promptly to their Treasurer.
Many thanks to Rosie for planning and running three excellent workshops. I attended two of them and have benefitted greatly from the understanding gained. I don’t envy your task! Any Treasurer who was not able to attend may not have received 3 helpful information sheets that Rosie prepared.
1. Explanation of column entries on the financial statement.
2. What WI monies can be used for.
3. Documentation to be included when sending accounts for auditing.
