Craft – July 2023 Update

Well, the whole of Cresswell House was filled with that enveloping aroma of warm home baked bread on the first Saturday of July. I for one was glad I made the effort to get to Cresswell House. It was truly delicious, and to hear Kevin speak with such knowledge and show us his skill with bread was a sight to behold. I shall be booking him again but what would you like him to demo?
Despite those saying I was too early to let you know about the Chocolate Demo and Tasting in November, I have already had a very in-depth conversation with one member who wanted to know how much stock the demonstrator would be bringing as she wanted to do her Christmas shopping asap…! Such is the demand for chocolate at Christmas!! I was able to reassure her that there would be plenty to go around.
The yellow forms are now out for multiple Craft Committee events, so please ensure you have applied for the right event on the right form! I had some confusion on the last sewing machine/flying geese day, which had it not been for the generosity of the demonstrator would not have ended as well as it did! I hope to see you at a Craft committee event in the next few months.
