2023 is well underway! The Committee hopes that it is a good year for you all and that we continue to have your much appreciated support at our events.
Come and Join Us! If in this new year you find yourself looking for a new challenge can I suggest that you might consider joining the “happy band” that is the Leisure Committee. We would love to add new members who could contribute fresh ideas to our discussions and help put these into place. If you are interested please contact the office and Nancy will put you in touch with me to discuss what would be involved.
A reminder on upcoming events:
Domino Competition. Closing date 1 March.
Gardeners’ Question Time. 27 March at Cresswell House, closing date 14 March.
Whist Drive. 17 April at Cresswell House and the closing date is 4 April.
Details of these events were in last Newsletter and forms are with your Secretary.
New future events coming up to look out for:
Croquet at Belsay. Provisional dates are 9 and 16 June. If your event was cancelled last year or you were unsuccessful in the ballot I will be in touch when these dates are confirmed.
Walk and lunch at Newbrough. 13 July. Details to follow.
