September events were, eventually, successfully and enjoyably completed.
Only one of the scheduled dates for the Croquet at Belsay took place. Much laughter rang out over the croquet lawn at Belsay and ended with tea and cake in the Hall’s dining room. Belsay did us proud. We hope to have a couple of sessions next year to, primarily, accommodate ladies whose event was cancelled or weren’t successful in the ballot.
Bellingham WI gave members a great afternoon at the Car Treasure Hunt. The winners were St. Mary’s Belles. Good to meet ladies from a “new” WI.
The final of the Darts and Domino Competition for 2022 was also held. Congratulations to Bellingham (darts) and Stocksfield (dominoes). Commiserations to the runners up – Hepple and Chollerton.
