As promised application forms for the Domino Drive and Summer Quiz are out this month. Both popular events which I hope you will be excited to see returning.
The Domino Drive will take place at Stannington Village Hall on Monday 16 May from 12-3pm. The cost per member will be £9.50. The Committee is aware of the price increase but this is largely due to the considerable increase in the charge for the hall at Stannington. Lunch is included and will be sandwiches and cake served with tea and coffee. Closing date for applications is Tuesday 3 May 2022.
Start getting your brains into gear for the Summer Quiz, a general knowledge quiz with an emphasis on leisure. It will be held at Cresswell House on Monday 13 June from 7-9pm. There will be tables of four but you don’t have to make up a full table to enter. The cost per member is £8.50 and includes a supper of quiche and salad, followed by strawberries and cream. A soft drink will be served but feel free to bring something stronger! Closing Date is Tuesday 31 May.
In both cases PLEASE indicate any dietary requirements on the application form or contact me via the Office. We can only meet your needs if we know what they are.
