The Committee would like to wish all our readers a Happy New Year with every wish that 2022 will be a good year for the WI.
Numbers for the DARTS and DOMINO competitions are much reduced. 10 Darts teams and 20 Domino teams have been entered. Consequently in both cases there are too few teams to divide our area into North and South. The Committee will do the draw for both competitions and as matches will take place over the summer long journeys will be easier. Your feelings about this would be welcomed.
We start our year with a WHIST DRIVE. This will be held at Cresswell House on Monday 4 April from 7-9 pm. Come along for a fun evening whether you are an absolute beginner or have some experience. I am led to believe that all you need to do is follow instructions! The cost per member will be £8 and finger food and a non-alcoholic beverage is included, but do feel free to bring wine if it helps your brain cells. Closing date is Monday 28 March.
