A number of WI members enjoyed a presentation by Joyce Quin, co author with Moira Kilkenny, of ‘Angels of the North – Notable Women of the North East’ book 1 and ‘Angels of the North More Notable Women of the North East’ on Saturday 7th March.

A rare opportunity for a special, private tour of the archives when the museum is closed to the public. This includes behind the scenes storage and examples of WI material .
Tea and biscuits will be provided but please bring your own lunch, as the museum facilities will not be available. There is a large car park and parking is free. Please arrive for 10.30 am.
The price is £15 and closing date is 22 June 2026.
