NATIONAL ANNUAL MEETING – WED 4TH JUNE 2025
We now know that the resolution appearing on the Agenda at the National Annual Meeting on 4th June 2025 will be “Bystanders can be Lifesavers”, WIs should discuss the resolution and vote (for or against) at their May WI meetings and advise their Delegate of the result – don’t forget to give her discretion if required.
If the resolution is passed, NFWI will have a mandate on which to base a campaign We will then be able to do our bit to help raise the awareness of the use of CPR and defibrillators within our communities. Why not have a speaker at your WI to tell you more about the subject – many WIs have defibrillators in their area, some of which have already been used to save lives, but do you know how to operate one?
At the online meeting, as well as general and financial business, members will hear from two interesting and well-known speakers – Emma Bridgewater and Angel Strawbridge. It promises to be a good meeting!
