Craft – October 2023 Update

Well, we are having a later summer burst of good weather as I type this, I just hope it lasts a bit longer. The Craft Committee held their Autumn meeting late September to plan for 2024 and we have some very good ideas in the planning, please look out for our yellow forms.
But before then, we have the Saturday Christmas Wreath Making sessions, at Cresswell House on 18 November. It’s been so popular in the past. We are working our tutors extra hard who will put on two sessions! Session one will be 10 for 10:30 and session two will be 1 for 1:30. The closing date is 31 October, so please get your forms in. Everything is provided, all you need to bring is some gloves and a pair of secateurs, if you have them.
Also planned is a delicious chocolate experience! On Saturday 25 November, at Cresswell House, you will be given a talk by the ‘Canny Chocolate’ team, a demo on how they make their excellent delicious items and there will be the chance to buy just in time for the Festive period, if they last that long! Again, session one 10 for 10:30, session two 1 for 1:30. The yellow forms are already out, so please send them in as soon as possible.
