Well, the weather is getting better, the nights are lighter and we have just about finished our chocolate binge, also called Easter!
I do hope that you have started looking at what new experiences you can join the Craft Committee for, how about the Bread making day or the upcoming needlework picture?
We, as a Committee, are always looking for tutors who can show us new things. You don’t have to have a teaching qualification just experience and a willingness to share with others your particular crafty interest. The Committee will be around to support you for the whole time.
So, do we have any members who could show us the joys of pottery be it slab work or rope pots (despite watching the great pottery throw down that is the limit of my knowledge!). Or, do you have…
- An interest in working with pewter or can you show others how to make flowers from tights?
- The skills to show others how to make necklaces from fabric?
- Can you show ladies how to decorate sponge buns with floral or animal faces from an icing bag?
I know we have lots of skilled and talented members, proof is in those amazing entries on competition day, so come on ladies take your shining light from under the blankets, share your skills and interest wider in the Federation
