Get To Know Your Sewing Maching with Some Experience

During this class we explore what your sewing machine is capable of doing and making sure you have the confidence to use it.

The session will explore all of the stitches in your machine. You will learn about combining stitches, inserting zips, buttonholes, overcasting and decorative stitches and lots more. The session also includes basic maintenance of the machine. You will be provided with Fabrics, zips, and buttons to practise and will leave with instructions to act as a reminder of what was included in the session. If your machine is more than one year old, it will need to be PAT tested and that will be done at the start of the day.

The class will be run by a very experienced talented and skilled tutor Kim Suleman from Six Penny Memories is well known on tv and around the quilting world for her skills, so you will be learning from the best.!

The course will cost £20, all fabric, zip, button and interfacings, tea and coffee. The date is to be 20 April 2023 at Cresswell House starting at 10 for 10:30 finishing at 12:30 approx.  See Northumberland news for fuller details.  Closing date for applications will be noon 4 April so get those yellow sheets sent in as quick as you can, the session will be limited numbers but will be repeated if needed.
