Crewel Embroidery Course – First Session

Following the popularity of the Embroidery Workshop last year, we are really pleased to bring you a two day Crewel Embroidery Course at Cresswell House led by the talented Marian Fairless. She will introduce you to Crewel work, showing you lots of different examples, as well as teaching you a variety of surface decoration and line stitches.

You will be provided with all of the fabrics, wool and embroidery hoops to enable you to practise those new stitches and then go on to create a finished traditional crewel embroidery piece. Cost is £30 per person for the course. Bring a packed lunch. Closing date is noon 9 September.
