Celebration of National Stottie Week

Ladies, get ready to learn about a local speciality in the Northeast of England – the not so humble, dietary essential, Stottie!. We are going to celebrate National Stottie Week at Cresswell House on 17 February 2024. Kevin Johnson will show us how to make stotties from scratch, how to bake hams to make the Geordie favourite sarnie as well as the peas pudding with it and a no cook chutney. You will eat the creations on the day, so be prepared! You will also learn a little of the history of the stottie as well as how it got its name – no need for a packed lunch on this day I suspect!
