The walk is moderate and covers 5 miles with one slight incline and is on tracks and a short distance on a quiet road. There will be the possibility of turning back at any point. Enjoy the beautiful countryside and learn something of the area. Do you know Biddlestone quarry’s claim to fame? Come at 10:00 for tea and coffee and the walk starts at Netherton Memorial Hall at 10:30. Afterwards there will be a savoury and sweet lunch\, which will reward your efforts. DESCRIPTION:We are delighted that we are invited to another evening of beauty and fashion at the John Lewis store in Eldon Square\, Newcastle on Thursday 18 April. This is a fundraising event organised by John Lewis for Northumberland Federation members. Discover the new trends in fashion and accessories with Stylists at their Fashion Showcase.  Take a seat at one of the Skincare Secrets show cases. Join a fashion floor tour – tours leave from the Fashion Stop\, Style Studio every 15 minutes. My John Lewis members can enter the Prize Draw for a chance to with one of four £50 gift cards. Receive £5 off your bill when you spend £50 or spend over £100 and Spin to Win. All this whilst you sip a glass of fizz or two! The ticket price is £10 of which £5 will be donated to the Federation. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday 13 April at Cresswell House for 3 Spring themed Crafts that require no specialists’ skills and with a hot lunch served on our special Spring Craft Day.  The day has been put together to raise funds for the demonstration screens in the Kitchen area at Cresswell House\, which we hope you will support. \nDuring the day you will create a selection of Marzipan Fruits\, sew a fabulous Embroidered Flower\, and make a No sew Spring Wreath. Each project would be perfect to gift to a friend or keep for yourself. The price is £30. Please arrive at 10am for refreshments for a 10.30am start. Spaces are limited to 30\, so get your applications in as soon as possible. \nClosing date is noon on Tuesday 19 March.
