What a busy time the Craft Committee has had with the oversubscribed machine quilting, the oversubscribed marzipan fruits and the mega oversubscribed Christmas Crafts Day, & that’s just since last mailing! Thank you to everyone who showed us support & I am very sorry for those who didn’t get a place on the course of their choice.
It’s a rubbish job making those calls…! Good news though, the machine quilting will run again, in the same format, over 4 days March 5, 12, 19 and 26 – coffee from 9 am, 9:30 sharp start, finishing at 3:30, cost £49. You will need your own machine with ¼ inch foot and walking foot plus your packed lunch. Preference will be given to those unlucky in last ballot so please note that on the yellow application form. Then the marzipan fruits will run again on 20 March 2020, again preference will be given to those unlucky in last ballot, same costs. Watch for the yellow application form. If you fancy a go at any of these please remember the date might not suit those unlucky before, so don’t put off applying if you want to have a go.
More planning for 2020, Sue Malloy has agreed to do a series of food demos at Cresswell House first one being fish, 25th March 2020, Coffee from 10 demo starts prompt 10:30. Priced at £12; yellow application form in this mailing, watch listen and learn then best of all taste…!
A huge thank you to the tutors who have led the courses this year, especially those who have agreed to do repeats so fewer people miss out. The Christmas Craft Day ends our crafting year for 2019, but we have lots of things planned for 2020. The biggest date for your diary should be
20 June 2020 for the Federation Competition day. Enormous thanks goes out to my Committee who never fail to deliver with a smile, the events we
have planned, you have been fabulous. I would be lost or at least Billy-no-mates without you all…!
